Signed in to Afi Planner? Settings › Connected AI apps › Connect an AI app shows these steps with everything filled in, and turns green when your app is connected.

  • Read-only: your AI app can look things up but never edits, plans or sends anything
  • It sees only what your role in Afi Planner may see, with your own sign-in
  • Each person connects their own app; you can disconnect it any time in Settings

Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT on the web: Business, Enterprise and Edu: an admin or owner adds custom MCP apps or opens them to you. Other plans: check in your app whether Add custom MCP server is there.

  1. 1Open Plugins

On chatgpt.com, open Plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP server.

Not there? In a workspace, an admin turns on Developer mode or custom MCP apps in the workspace settings first. Menus move often: check in your app.

  2. 2Paste the address

Name it Afi Planner. Under Connection, paste the address as the Server URL.

    https://app.afi.io/api/mcp

  3. 3Choose OAuth and create

For authentication choose OAuth and leave any client ID and secret empty: Afi Planner registers ChatGPT by itself. Tick I understand and want to continue and click Create as a plugin.

  4. 4Sign in and allow

Install the plugin, then sign in to Afi Planner with your own account and click Allow. In a chat, type @ and pick Afi Planner.

Don’t see it? Open Personal Intelligence first, then Connected Apps.

Any other MCP app

Other MCP app: The app must reach a remote MCP server over HTTPS (Streamable HTTP) and sign in with OAuth. Where its settings are depends on the app: check its help.

  1. 1Add a remote MCP server

In your app’s settings, add a remote MCP server or custom connector and paste the address.

    https://app.afi.io/api/mcp

  3. 3Sign in and allow

An Afi Planner page opens: sign in with your own account and click Allow. You come back to your AI app.

Frequently asked questions

Can my AI app change my routes?

No. The connection is read-only: it can read routes, orders, drivers and reports, and it can’t edit, plan, dispatch or message anyone.

What does it see?

Only what your role in Afi Planner may see. A dispatcher’s app sees what the dispatcher sees; driver pay stays hidden from a role that can’t open it.

Which apps work?

Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini have their steps on this page, and any app that adds a remote MCP server with OAuth sign-in works too. Each app decides which of its plans allow it: the line under each app says what its help says today.

How do I disconnect it?

In Afi Planner, open Settings › Connected AI apps and click Disconnect. It stops at once. Changing your password also ends every app you connected.

Do I need an account?

Yes. The AI app signs in to Afi Planner as you, so you need an Afi Planner account, and the owner or an admin turns on the AI assistant for your company in Settings.
